The Painted Tarot deck was made from original full scale paintings by professional artist Sophie Mckay Knight.
It is printed on 350gsm Zanta Games Board and as well as the 78 full colour cards (wide tarot size), it has a 28 page booklet called 'The Painted Tarot, a deeper look' - which offers interpretations of the cards and delves deeper into their process of creation.
The card back design is a photo of the dripped on and messy studio floor, underneath the two easels where all the paintings were created - it tells its very own story!
Created over a two year period, this deck was made after a lifetime love and association with tarot and other divinatory practices. It is a fusion of storytelling, colour explosion, magic and life experience!
