The Tarot of Durer

In this deck of intense grace and powerful beauty, Gaudenzi pays tribute to the amazing style and skill of 16th century painter Albrecht Dürer. By combining the symbolism of the Tarot with style of the Northern Renaissance, we get a refreshing representation of the Tarot archetypes. Gaudenzi does not slavishly copy Dürer's style; his use of bright yet delicate colors ensures that the finished product will be pleasing to contemporary eyes. In addition to being faithful to traditional Tarot meanings, Gaudenzi incorporates an animal in each card, each one providing a symbolic message.
